People are so easy to forget just how insanely good he was. Insane work ethic with a mamba mentality to crush his opponents. What a joy it was watching him in the league. Happy bday legend.

When Im feeling lazy I always ask "what would Kobe do?" and it usually gets me off my ass.
Unfortunately the wife has also caught on to this and sometimes uses is to make me do something.
But hey, gotta respect the mamba code.

Honestly, he is my biggest role model and Im sure a lot of people here share that same sentiment. Kobe is the true definition of class. And no matter where you are in life, whether you e still in school, trying to finish college, trying to advance in your career, or struggling to over come the most enduring obstacles that life throws at you. Simply if you e just trying to better yourself as a whole. All you have to remember are these two words ... Mamba Mentality.

I always tell myself that no one is bigger than the Lakers, but Im also sure I will never root, suffer with, and anticipate a game, as much as when Kobe was playing. Rings, buzzer beaters, and his sheer day-to-day consistency aside, I have never seen anyone who has captivated me on the court as much as him.
I miss a lot about him, but the thing that struck me most was the sheer fear he caused. There was an announcer that said it best: Kobe is so good that you can only hope to contain him. That him not to go completely off on you is considered good. There was a time a 28 point game by Kobe was considered as the other team doing a good job.
Thank you, Kobe. I can never thank you enough.
虽然我成天说“湖人总冠军”，但其实自从老科退役后，我再也没法像过去那样能完全沉浸在一场比赛中了。一想起这个，脑子里的画面都是我科的总冠军戒指，冷血无情的绝杀依然历历在目。不过最打动我的还是他日复一日的坚持，老大走了之后，没谁能让我如此着迷了。
我的确很想念科比，不过最让我怀念的还是他在联盟中制造的“恐慌”。曾经有个评论员说得好：不要指望防得住科比，他不把你打爆就算好的了。当时哪支球队能把科比防到“只得”28分就是成功。

The reason I picked up basketball. Few players are unreal to the point of inspiration. If you grew up watching him you know exactly what I mean. To this day I occasionally watch highlights of Kobes greatest games and get hyped to get shots up. Happy birthday to this man!
