狐狸和狮子
When the fox first saw the lion, he was terribly(非常)frightened.
狐狸第一次见到狮子时非常害怕。
He ran away, and hid himself in the forest.
他赶紧跑走，藏到森林里。
The second time, however, he came near the lion.
然而，第二次，他来到狮子附近。
He stopped at a safe distance(距离), and watched him pass by.
他停在安全距离内，看着他经过。
The third time they came near one another.
第三次，他们挨得更近了。
The fox went straight up to the lion, and stayed the whole(整个)day with him.
狐狸直径走向狮子，并跟狮子待了一整天呢。
He asked the lion something about his family members(成员)and when they would meet again.
他问候了狮子的家庭成员情况，也问到了他们俩个什么时候还能再见面。
They soon became good friends.
他们很快变成了好朋友。
This story tells us that don be afraid of something you don understand(了解), when you approach it, you will feel nothing terrible.
这个故事告诉我们，不要害怕不了解的事物，当你接近它时，就会觉得没什么可怕的。
